Home for Christmas!

I made it home, YAY.

Which is a good thing, because if I had to stay for some dumbass reason, I would have....well, it wouldn't have been pretty, but since it is Christmas Day and all I won't say anything too bad! Besides, I am trying not to turn this into a massive work rant.

Anyway, I am home, and that is so good. In all of my almost 31 years I have been home for Christmas. This year I was much farther away than normal, and I wasn't sure it was going to happen. Please understand that had it been NECESSARY for me to stay I would have. There wasn't.

Anyway, I have spent every single Christmas of my life in this house, and that means something to me. A lot of the time, I don't even go anywhere all day on Christmas, I just hang out with the fam, and that is fine with me. THAT is what Christmas is all about. This year, my sister is on call, and her husband has to work, but we will all still be together as much as we can. If I had had to sit in my apartment 7 or 8 hours away by myself, well that would have sucked, especially all for a job that I am not sure is working for me. The way the situation is right now is kind of effed up, and is bound to get better, but I just can't see myself doing this forever. WTF. Will I ever be happy? I thought that getting my degree was the answer, and now here I sit, still unsure.

But, I am not going to dwell on that tonight.

I will say though, that I am turning into a lightweight. Seriously. I had one Pomegranate Martini tonight and I was ready for naptime. At around 7 pm. And I am a nightowl! I rarely go to bed before 2 am! I have basically had to stay pretty coherent though, again due to my job and potential emergencies, which isn't a bad thing. I think I may just have to go in hunt of Smirnoff Ice tomorrow though. I mean today. Or maybe I will just try to perfect the Pom Martini recipe. Hmmm.

But, I don't really know where I am going with this post. Pretty random tonight. No one reads this shiz anyway.

Too many to list, but I will say these little white cookies with frosting that my mom always makes.

They use colored, and I like them, but for myself I think I would go with clear

Question:

Is every Monday now "Cyber Monday"? WTF? Cyber Monday is the Monday after Black Friday, when one can avoid the crowds, not get trampled, and hopefully get some good deals. So why am I STILL getting Cyber Monday ads via email? I almost expect to get Cyber everyday of the week ads, and why stop when Christmas is over? How about Cyber April 3? I must have a sick mind, because I just thought of how "Cyber" can mean something else all together! Heh.

I have just about walked my legs off the last few days! My mom came to visit, and we went to NYC on Friday, almost saw some guy get his ass kicked on the train, (he deserved it...obnoxious bastard), walked around for hours, then got royally confused trying to get a train OUT of the City, and finally made it back to our hotel and kind of crashed.

Then yesterday, we went to this big ass mall, walked, and walked, and walked some more. Then we went laptop shopping, found one I liked, they were sold out, so we went to another store, and they were sold out of it too. Damnit. So I pretty much decided it wasn't meant to be. Then I couldn't stand it anymore, went and checked the website and ORDERED IT!! YAY. I cannot wait to get it. My old desktop is just not cutting it. Please keep your fingers crossed that the Dell fiasco will not be repeated or I will seriously cut a bitch. heh. Which bitch remains to be seen. =]

FUCK DELL, DELL SUCKS.

Then last night, the fire alarm went off in the hotel at 2 am. I can't tell you how that makes you feel to be woken up that way, but at least it was shut off quickly. I found out this morning that it was because some moron lady was smoking in her room. Dumbass.

And now, I am at work, and should probably do my workly duties.
